Forming on the basis to never settle for second best, Manchester pop rock band Milestones was conceived in 2015. Originating from bands who lacked big picture ideals and work ethic, vocalist Matt Clarke, guitarist Drew Procter and bassist Mark Threlfall formed the beginnings of what would become Milestones. Shortly after, guitarist Eden Leviston was added to finalize the band’s lineup.
Fusing the integrity of atmospheric rock, quintessential pop-driven hooks, and emo lyrics, Milestones constructed a sound and more importantly an individual vision which pulled in a rabid local fan base and inevitably the attention of Fearless Records. Pulling influences from Mayday Parade, You Me At Six, and Bring Me The Horizon, Milestones wrote around the clock with the aid of producer Phil Gornell to craft their debut EP, Equal Measures, slated for release in 2016. Clarke elaborated on the band’s shot at success saying, “Hard work CAN get you somewhere […] we want to show there is a right way and a good way to achieve what you want in this world and to achieve your own milestones.”
